Maithri, a registered forum, was established in the year 1995 by a group of Keralites to spread the message of friendship. Maithri has its office in Begumpet and has members from all parts of Kerala State.

Malayalees who are into business, service, studies etc are all a part of this family. Maithri members meet quite frequently and exchange their views on various topics. Occassions like Vishu & Onam brings in a lot of life & activity into the members & their families.

Maithri also ensures that the tradition of a malayalee is not forgotten by the future generations. The members are treated to the traditional art & culture performances of Kerala regularly. Maithri has conducted several acclaimed cultural shows that have transcended all linguistic and regional barriers.

Maithri invites various personalities from Kerala to visit Hyderabad & perform their masterpieces. Lectures, Medical Camps, Awareness programs & Spiritual discources are all a part of Maithri. Public welfare is one area which has been on high priority in Maithri.

There is no place for politics in Maithri. Members from all walks of life meet only to share happiness, kindness, sorrow, knowledge, solutions etc. Maithri welcomes malayalees residing in the twin cities of Hyderabad/ Secunderabad to join as members.

MAITHRI has conducted several programs in the past. Some of them are:

• Utility Talks & Demonstration like Rudraksha Therapy, Reiki Therapy, Hypnotherapy, Vasthu         Shastra, Astrology, Art of Living.
• Medical Camps like Diabetic Detection Camp, Pulse Polio Campaign etc
• Medical Aid to SACH (Save a child program of Apollo Hospitals).
• Religious Awareness Programs with Swami Paramathananda, Rev. Arulappa etc
• Financial Aid to the poor & needy at old age homes, orphanage and sponsorship for studies.
• National Integration by participating in the Independence Day Celebrations of AP State Govt.         conducted Competitions, donation to Lathur earthquake victims, Kargil Heroes etc.
